Biodiversity Easter Egg Hunt Competition
This family fun activity is based on the traditional Easter egg hunt where children learn about native birds and their eggs. In various locations around Portumna Castle and Gardens are hidden illustrated wild bird’s eggs & clues, match these to the birds on your answer sheet to be in with a chance to win a €100 hamper. This competition runs from Thursday 6th April to Monday 10th April and one winner will be drawn the correct entries which will be announced on Tuesday 11th April.
There is lots more to do at Portumna Castle and Gardens this Easter break with our ‘Biodiversity Trail in the Willow Maze’, outdoor chess, guided and self-guided tours, walk around the 17th century walled kitchen garden, view Sarah Loughnane’s exhibition ‘Mediating Imagination’ or relax and enjoy refreshments and treats at Catoca Tea room. Car parking and full toilet facilities.
