A talk & walk tour of the Arboretum by Dr. Darach Lupton, Curator of the National Botanic Gardens, including Kilmacurragh Botanical Gardens & the John F.Kennedy Arboretum.
This tour will highlight wildflower meadows, our involvement with the International Conifer Conservation Programme (ICCP) and key specimen trees on site. Darach's interests include the conservation of the flora of Ireland & Oman, along with the promotion of botanic gardens & horticulture as essential tools in global plant conservation.
An outdoor tour not to be missed!
