This event to mark Dublin History Festival will present and explore Michael Angelo Hayes’ installation of the Prince of Wales as Knight of St. Patrick, in St. Patricks Cathedral in 1868 – an amazing painting in Farmleigh Library depicting this famous occasion.

The focus will be on the ladies amongst the elite guests at the ceremony – including Princess Alexandra, Lady Jane Wilde and a Guinness girl!
