Brenanstown Portal Tomb
Brenanstown Portal Tomb, also known as Glendruid Dolmen, is located within a valley, close to a stream.
It is said to date back to around the Neolithic period, as excavations show settlement within the area during both the Neolithic and Bronze Age.
The capstone, which weighs approximately 45 – 50 tons, is held by two front portal stones and three side stones. The tomb consists of a main chamber and an antechamber, which is separated by a door stone.
