We expect all aspects of a visit to an OPW Heritage Site, including the Cafés and Tearooms,to showcase the best of Ireland for our domestic and international visitors. The food and beverage offering plays a key role in the presentation of our national heritage.

The Tea Rooms are sited in the 17th Century Courtyard area of the Castle grounds. Portumna Castle and Gardens attracts many international visitors. However, the majority of visitors to the site are domestic and are repeat visitors.
