There are wonderful café facilities at a number of OPW heritage sites.
We expect all aspects of a visit to an OPW Heritage Site, including the Cafés and Tearooms, to showcase the best of Ireland for our domestic and international visitors. The food and beverage offering plays a key role in the presentation of our national heritage.
These cafés are run on a concession basis with the concessions advertised on e-tenders as they arise.

The Commission of Public Works in Ireland invite submissions from suitably qualified candidates for the operation of a mobile catering unit at Barryscourt Castle for the 2026 season.
