There are wonderful café facilities at a number of OPW heritage sites.
We expect all aspects of a visit to an OPW Heritage Site, including the Cafés and Tearooms,to showcase the best of Ireland for our domestic and international visitors. The food and beverage offering plays a key role in the presentation of our national heritage.
These cafés are run on a concession basis with the concessions advertised on e-tenders as they arise.
Current Tenders on Offer: Barryscourt Castle
The OPW’s National Monuments Service are currently seeking Expressions of
Interest from suppliers to operate a mobile coffee unit serving beverages, baked
goods and snacks at Barryscourt Castle, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork for a proposed
period of 4.5 months commencing in mid April 2025.

for completion.
