“Working as an OPW guide is a unique job. You have the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and from countries all over the world. We help bring history and heritage to life and provide memorable experiences to our local and international visitors. Working in some of Ireland’s most important and iconic heritage sites, guides also have the opportunity to learn and develop new life skills: public speaking, customer service, event management, cash handling, research and general administration. While no two days as an OPW guide are the same, all days can offer exciting and rewarding experiences.”
