Boheh Rock Art
Considered to be one of Ireland’s best collections of petroglyphs (prehistoric rock carvings), Boheh contains over 250 motifs.
It is believed to date back to around 3,800BC and its surface contains many cup ring and keyhole carvings.
The designs may indicate the natural phenomenon of the setting sun, on both the 18th of April and mid-August, rolling down the side of Croagh Patrick.
The stone is known locally as St. Patrick’s Chair or Knee Mark.
