An image of the Dubh Linn Gardens. The Record Tower of Dublin Castle and the State Apartments are visible in the background. Three people walk in the gardens.

During this family-friendly workshop our participants will explore the history behind the Dubh Linn Garden, located behind the State Apartments of Dublin Castle.

Together we'll learn about Ana Dolan, the architect involved in re-landscaping the garden in the mid-1990s, the significance behind the garden's name and the current function of the circular lawn as a helicopter landing pad!

Participants will use materials from the Education Room to colour and fold their own 3D Dubh Linn Gardens!

This is an opportunity to learn, discuss and create using the rich history of Dublin Castle as our starting point!

This workshop is free of charge. Booking is essential, as places are limited! Booking is by email only.
