Founded in 1971 by recorder enthusiasts, players and teachers, the Society of Recorder Players (Ireland) is pleased to be part of the Culture Night event at St. Audoen's.
This performance will showcase the amazing amount of music that has been composed and/ or arranged for recorder ensemble over the years. It will also demonstrate the various sizes of recorders in the Society (from the small Descant to the very large Contrabass!).
Ranging from Renaissance and Classical music to Traditional Irish music, there is something for everyone – we hope you enjoy it!
