Dublin Castle

As part of our Education Programme, we're delighted to have the experience of visual artist and printmaker Caoimhe Dalton  to draw upon this March!

To celebrate the 'Neglected Genius Thomas Frye' exhibition, we've decided to focus on the mezzotint portraits completed by Frye throughout his career. You'll find wonderful examples of these in the State Apartment Galleries of Dublin Castle. Workshops will take place on the 3rd and 10th of March.

During the workshop, Caoimhe Dalton will complete a step-by-step demonstration of the acetate print process before guiding participants in the creation of their own acetate prints!

The workshop will take place in the Education Room of Dublin Castle. We advise that participants wear old clothes (or bring an apron / shirt) and that they bring along a picture / photo on the day of the workshop.

Booking is essential as places are limited. Booking is by email only. Book at dublincastleeducation@opw.ie
