EDUCATION EVENT: AZURE WORKSHOP!

The Education Team is delighted to offer an Azure (dementia-inclusive) workshop as part of Bealtaine Festival. Bealtaine is an Age & Opportunity Arts Initiative, funded by the Arts Council and the HSE.

These dementia-inclusive sessions offer guided observations of specific artworks at Dublin Castle to support people living with dementia and their families, friends and carers. Our aim is to create an inclusive space at Dublin Castle, where participants can practice the art of ‘slow-looking’ using selected artworks as their starting point.

The session will include a discussion, teas / coffees, and an art activity inspired by the chosen artwork. Our experienced Azure trained facilitators will deliver their session in both the State Apartment Galleries and the Education Room.

This session is free of charge but booking is required as places are limited.
