Founded soon after the Norman conquest of Ireland, Kilkenny Castle has been rebuilt, extended and adapted to suit changing circumstances and uses over a period of 800 years. Peter Kenny, OPW, will explore the visual features of Kilkenny Castle today. The guided tour will be conducted outdoors, please wear appropriate clothes and footwear.

The event is free of charge but registration is necessary as number of places are limited.
