JS Bach arranged by Dermot Dunne: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988
Following much-lauded performances of a special arrangement of JS Bach’s towering work, Goldberg Variations at Casino Marino last year, the Dublin International Chamber Music Festival is delighted to welcome back accordionists Dermot Dunne and Martin Tourish for a repeat performance this season. On this occasion, this spellbinding duo present Dunne’s own brilliant arrangement of this extraordinary masterpiece by Bach in the magnificent surroundings of the Elizabethan Rathfarnham Castle.
