Royal Hospital Kilmainham
In honour of the 110th anniversary of the Easter Rising, join the OPW and En Garde re-enactors for a fun, family event that tells the stories through uniforms, conversations and artefacts about the Easter Rising and the events that would rapidly follow in its footsteps.
Join us to learn about the experiences, struggles and stories of those involved in the Easter Rising and the events that followed. Learn of their inspirations, their difficulties and the people shaped by these events. What they had access to and how they responded to that access.
There are no tickets. Simply find us in the corner in the central courtyard of the Royal Hospital, in front of the Old Man's House exhibition and beside the entrance of the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
