Education Event : Origami Ruff Workshop!

During this workshop our participants will explore one of the artworks on display at Dublin Castle. This time, we'll be taking our inspiration from the ruff worn in 'Portrait of an Old Woman' by Jan Anthonisz van Ravesteyn.

Participants will use materials from the Education Room to create their own individual 6 pointed modular stars! Once completed, these stars will form part of a costume piece, specifically an origami ruff!

This is an opportunity to learn, discuss and create using the rich art collection of the State Apartments at Dublin Castle.

This workshop is free of charge. Booking is essential, as places are limited! Booking is by email only. Please note that this workshop is best suited to adults or those with prior experience in origami techniques.
