During this workshop our participants will explore the classical columns located throughout the State Apartments. We'll be taking our inspiration from the Tuscan, Ionic and Corinthian Columns throughout the 18th rooms to create our own embroidery pieces!
Participants will use materials from the Education Room to make their own embroidered column designs using the Sashiko embroidery technique!
This is an opportunity to learn, discuss and create, using the rich art collection of the State Apartments at Dublin Castle.
This workshop is free of charge. Booking is essential, as places are limited! Booking is by email only. This workshop is for adults only.
