The landscape of St Enda's Park, formerly known as the fields of Odin, has been shaped by physical forces over hundreds of millions of years and by human forces over thousands of years.

In this event, local studies enthusiast Tony Dunne will outline in a short illustrated talk, the formation of the local bedrock granite, and will show how it was sculpted over time into the landscape we enjoy today. Afterwards he will lead a walk to a number of sites within the park where there is evidence of the forces that operated in the past, and we will observe some forces that are actively shaping the landscape today.

Meet in the Nature Room/Nádúrlann.
