To support National Heritage Week events at Annes Grove Gardens in Castletownroche, Local Link Cork will provide shuttle buses on Saturday 24th August 2024.
Adult fare is €3 single. Children travel free and Free Travel Pass accepted. Free entry will be granted to Annes Grove Gardens upon showing your Local Link bus ticket or FT Pass.
Plan your visit:
Coming from Fermoy:
• Buses departing The Grand Hotel, Ashe Quay, Fermoy at 11:30 am and 2:30 pm. Stopping at Ballyhooly school and Castletownroche Community Centre. Arriving at Annes Grove House approx. 12:00 and 3:00 pm.
• Return buses departing Annes Grove at 2:00 and 5:00 pm.
Coming from Mitchelstown:
• Take Local Link Cork Route 523 departing from Dealz, Mitchelstown at 12:00 pm, arriving at Irwin’s Bar, Shanballymore at 12:20 pm to meet shuttle bus.
• Return shuttle departing Annes Grove House at 4:10 pm to meet Route 523 bus at Shanballymore.
Coming from Mallow:
• Take Local Link Cork Route 523 departing from Town Park, Mallow at 1:00 pm, arriving at Irwin’s Bar, Shanballymore at 1:30 pm to meet shuttle bus.
• Return shuttle departing Annes Grove House at 5:00 pm. to meet Route 523 bus at Shanballymore.
Getting Here
Exit M8 at junction 14, Fermoy. Then take N72 to Castletownroche.
Take Doneraile Rd from Castletownroche and take first slight right after 300m.
Annes Grove gardens is 3km down this road.
**Google Maps will take visitors off the M8 from Mallow and down some quite narrow roads. The above route is slightly longer but much more comfortable to drive.
Train:;Train to Mallow, Annes Grove is approx 25 minute taxi journey from there.
