To celebrate the centenary of Marino estate, Casino Marino’s experienced guide, Conal will provide a historic guided tour of Marino and its surroundings. The tour will include a walking tour commencing in the Casino Marino, through Saint Vincent`s GAA grounds, Marino Institute of Education, Marino and Griffith Avenue and Marino Crescent. The guided tour will include;

• Reflections on the Charlemont Demesne from the mid- 18th century until the late 19th Century.
• The changing political and physical landscape of Marino from the 1880`s to 1924.
  Prominent Marino residents in the 19th and 20th century.
• The design and construction of the Marino Garden suburb from 1924.
  Conservation and restoration of Marino Casino , a neo- classical masterpiece, 1974-1984.
