Throughout his life Seamus Breathnach was a prolific writer. He wrote of his own experiences, recorded much of the local traditions and folklore and he published stories and articles in a range of newspapers, periodicals and journals.
With a passion for the Irish language and local history he became deeply involved in the Nationalist Movement and Gaelic Revival. Join Pádraig Walsh as he delves into the life of his predecessor and shares a display of original letters and photos.

No pre-booking required but limited to 30 people seated, so please arrive early if you are interested in attending - first come first served.  The talk shall take place in the Gunpowder Magazine at Charles Fort.
