The military establishment of Charles Fort and Kinsale Barracks were associated with numerous musicians, composers, writers and artists. This illustrated talk by Brendan Shiels shall take us on an artistic journey covering three centuries including poetry, song, opera and 'music hall', drama and farce, plans and paintings. Visual slides, audio clips and some of the collections from Charles Fort shall augment this unique artistic journey.
