Cellist Mary Barnecutt has created a concert of ‘chamber folk’ featuring strings, Irish harp, percussion and piano. Drawing from her experience as a musician and creative writer, Mary has imagined vast and varied soundscapes from piano and orchestral strings to adaptations of folk melodies. For this concert with her ensemble, they will perform chamber music arrangements of works from her two albums, interspersed with traditional English and Irish folk tunes.
