The interior of Dublin Castle's neo-gothic Chapel Royal

Join our Tour Guide Roisin, on a tour of the Neo-Gothic interiors of the Chapel Royal!

This 19th century Chapel Royal acted as the official Church of Ireland chapel of the Lord Lieutenant from 1814 until the creation of the Irish Free State in 1922.

During the tour you'll learn about the historical significance of the Chapel Royal, as well as specific aspects of its architecture and interior decoration.  Expect to hear about the organ built by William Telford as well as the stained-glass windows depicting 'The Four Evangelists' on the great east window by Joshua Bradley and James Donavan.
