Join us for an exciting outdoor workshop on freshwater ecology at Kennedy Park, led by biodiversity consultant Lorraine O’Sullivan. Discover the hidden world beneath the surface as we explore the lake, pond and stream habitats of the Park. You'll learn simple water sampling techniques and get hands-on experience collecting and identifying freshwater invertebrates like mayfly nymphs and pond snails. Lorraine will show how these tiny creatures act as indicators of water quality, offering insight into the health of our local ecosystems.
