As part of our Education Programme, we’re delighted to offer Pop-Up Talks on the 1916 Proclamation this Easter Sunday!
Join Tour Guide Audrey on a discussion on the Easter Rising, the Red Cross Military Hospital, and the story behind the Proclamation. These talks will take place in the Connolly Room of the State Apartments, where James Connolly, one of the leaders of the Easter Rising, spent his final days.
Each 20 minute talk will be repeated over one hour from 2:30 – 3:30 pm on Sunday, 5th April. These talks are open to anyone with a self-guiding ticket on the day.
