EDUCATION EVENT: RAVEN STICK PUPPETS!

During this FAMILY-FRIENDLY workshop participants will explore one of the objects on display at Dublin Castle. This time, we'll be taking our inspiration from the RAVEN depicted on one of the Louis XV style chairs in the Apollo Room! These four gilt-wood armchairs, gifted to the state in 1973 by Arthur Forbes (9th Earl of Granard), are upholstered in Beauvais tapestry illustrating the fables of Aesop!

Participants will use materials from the Education Room to create their own RAVEN STICK PUPPETS!

This is an opportunity to LEARN, DISCUSS and CREATE using the rich art collection of the State Apartments at Dublin Castle.

This workshop is free of charge. Booking is essential, as places are limited! Booking is by email only.
