Join Tour Guide Louise for her 'Specialised History Talk' on Georgian Architecture, followed by an adult-friendly 'Scavenger Hunt' to test participants' newly acquired knowledge!
During the talk, Louise will discuss the Georgian Palace that was built on the site in the early 18th century. Participants will learn about the Georgian Period (or the reign of the four Georges), the characteristics of Georgian Architecture and the reasons behind its prominence in Dublin during the 18th and 19th century. Following the talk, participants will identify the 5 Orders of Architecture as they relate to the rooms of the State Apartments!
This education event is free of charge. Booking is essential, as places are limited! Booking is by email only. This event is for adults and those aged 18 years and older.
