Join us for a fascinating talk by Eddie Hill on the importance of forage for pollinators with an emphasis on honeybees and their requirements throughout the short season and what we can do to improve their habitats.
Eddie Hill is a craft gardener employed by OPW, and works at St Enda's Park, Rathfarnham. Eddie has kept honeybees for a number of years and helps manage the apiary at St Enda's Park. He is involved with the All Ireland Pollinator Plan submitting data on a monthly basis as part of the bumblebee monitoring scheme. He also manages his own apiary in Co. Kildare where he is involved with NKBKA.
