Lecture organised as part of Dublin Festival of History
The Casino Marino is a hidden gem in Dublin and is a remarkable building, both in terms of structure and history. It is one of the finest neo-classical buildings in Europe.
The Casino Marino and the Custom House Visitor Centre are delighted to coordinate a talk together on the shared architecture between these two unique buildings.
Learn about William Chambers’ influential designs, and how it inspired the next generation of architects, like James Gandon, to create works of art set in stone.
Note: This talk will take place in the Casino Marino on 6 October but will also take place in the Custom House Visitor Centre on 28 September. There is limited parking available on site.
