Heritage Week 2024

The artistic and architectural legacy of ancient Greece and Rome has had a profound influence, through the Georgian and Victorian periods in which Farmleigh House was constructed and right up to the present. In this tour you will be guided through the ground floor of Farmleigh House, with a focus on spotting the traces of classical antiquity that can be found in the architectural design, as well as centuries worth of interpretations of mythological subjects and classical symbols within various artworks throughout the house.

Meeting point: Motor House Reception in the Courtyard

Suitable for visitors aged 14 plus.
