Where are women's voices in local history and heritage, what do we do with the uncomfortable side of Irish history for women, and how can we build an inclusive yet critical understanding of Irish history and heritage?

Join Mairéad Butler in Reginald's Tower on 19 August from 1-2pm for a conversation on addressing these issues, focusing on the examples of female incarceration in Reginald's Tower and in the Waterford Magdalene Laundry.

Access to the talk is by medieval spiral stairs only. This is a free talk; however, pre-booking is essential. To book your spot, please email Reginald’s Tower at reginaldstower@opw.ie or call 051 304 220/085 801 3885.
