The application stage of our recruitment process is designed to help you demonstrate your skills and experiences for meeting the criteria for the role. It is important to provide accurate information and to detail why you would be suitable for the role you are applying for.
Please see the following guidelines that will assist you in putting forward your application:
- Review the Competition Information Booklet: Before completing your application form, review the Information Booklet to ensure you have read the requirements and duties of the role and are eligible to apply for the position.
- Read the application form: Read each question on the application form carefully and make sure that you answer all questions.
- Give examples related to the competencies: The application form is designed to ensure you can clearly demonstrate the skills and experiences that you have. It is important to provide accurate information and to detail why you would be suitable for the role you are applying for.
- Shortlisting: Short-listing of candidates may apply based on the information contained in the applications. Therefore it is in your own interest to provide a detailed and accurate account of your experience on the application form.
- Take note of closing time: It’s important to take note of the competition closing date and give yourself sufficient time to fill out the application form. Only applications fully submitted online will be accepted into the competition. Applications will not be accepted after the closing date.
- Save your work: The application form must be completed and submitted during a single session on your browser. Do not refresh or use the back button on your browser before submitting your completed form as any data entered at that point will not be saved.
Record your answers to every question in the application form. This document will form the basis of the interview stage. Please note, there is no facility to save your form and return to the web page to complete before submitting.
