Join us on the 12th of March at 2.30pm for an artist talk and tour with artist Róisín O’Sullivan. Explore our three beautiful historic rooms in which are showing paintings, drawings, wood burnings and carvings by the artist.

Come learn about the artist’s practice, her unique collection of wood and her time at the Tony O’Malley Residency in Kilkenny where many of the works were created and all of the works were inspired from. Admission to the talk is free.  Róisín O’Sullivan is based in Callan, County Kilkenny, and Cork City. She has presented her work in exhibitions throughout Ireland and overseas, including institutions such as Triskel Arts Centre, Cork City (current solo show, 2023) and the Butler Gallery, Kilkenny. She recently completed the Tony O’Malley residency, administered by the Royal Hibernian Academy. She holds an MA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, and a BA in Fine Art from the Centre for Creative Arts & Media, Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. O’Sullivans practice is supported by the Arts Council of Ireland Bursary Award 2022. Her work is held in private and public collections, including the Office of Public Works.
