Price

Free of charge

Dates

19/05/2024 - 19/05/2024
2:00 pm - 4:00 am

Location

Aughnanure Castle

Come join us for a nature walk with Áine Ní Fhlatharta around the habitats of Aughnanure Castle, meet some of our beautiful wild pollinators and the indigenous wild flowers. We will explore the ancient co-existence between indigenous wild plants and pollinator species and the vital role that species rich habitats such as meadows and semi-natural grasslands play in providing pollinator’s year-round requirements. We’ll discuss the most beneficial actions for pollinators and wild flowers and the role of citizen science.

Aughnanure Castle is also running a children's biodiversity-based Quiz all week until the 26th.

Plus we are hosting a biodiversity-themed photographic competition - with great prizes for the winners!
