Tucked into a corner of the National Botanic Gardens’ staff car park is the former Museum Building, little known to visitors. One of the first prefabricated iron buildings in the world, its story encompasses the great age of industrial exhibitions and Ireland’s involvement in empire. Join OPW guide Gavin Corbett for this one-off talk in the Gardens’ auditorium.
