Join us at this Halloween at Portumna Castle in County Galway for a series of spooky events and lots of family fun!

 

Local lore and Spooky Stories- 30th October

Get ready for some ghoulish family fun this Halloween at Portumna Castle in Galway. At 11.30am and 2.30pm, you can explore the spooky side of Ireland’s storied past as our guides lead you through tales of the supernatural! Perfect for kids and families.

Both times are free but booking is essential- call 046 9422900 to secure your place.

Biodiversity Family Quiz-now until 5th November 

A family fun quiz focusing on biodiversity within Portumna Castle’s walled kitchen garden. One winner will be drawn from correct entries to win a family heritage card.

Entry cost is included in tickets to visit Portumna Castle!

Family and Friends Photo Fun

From 27th October – 3rd November you can enter our Halloween photo competition. Take a fun or scary photo of our Halloween display/ castle exhibition/ castle gardens with your family or friends. Make sure to tag Portumna Castle on Facebook or Instagram. The winning photo will earn a Halloween Hamper! Good luck to everyone!

Guess the Weight of the Pumpkin

From 27th- 3rd November, 10am-5pm you can guess the weight of a pumpkin as part of paid entry to Portumna Castle. Try and get as close as possible to our pumpkin’s weight! Guesses will be put in a hat with one winner drawn. The best guess will be awarded with a Halloween Hamper.
