The Lingaun Valley Solstice Festival is a week-long cultural journey toward the summer solstice — rooted in the landscape, heritage and community of one of Ireland’s most distinctive river valleys. Beginning on 14 June and culminating in a major gathering at Ormond Castle on the longest day of the year, the festival brings together storytelling, lantern making, stone and slate craft, live music, guided walks and community gatherings across Kilkenny and Tipperary.
