Image of Lorraine Whelan's painting Kingswood

An exhibition of recent paintings, drawings and prints that explores the concepts of “home” and “memory”.

Whelan’s work responds viscerally to personal circumstances and her environment. An ongoing interest in the study of dreams has resulted in bursts of colour and imagery related to her life and family history. In this body of work, Whelan investigates the universal themes of memory, place, identity and time through her responses to the memory of former homes in both Ireland and Canada over the past six decades.

Wednesday – Sunday only.
