To mark this year’s National Heritage Week’s theme “ Sustainable Heritage”, OPW-Kilkenny Castle is delighted to host a talk by Padraig Comerford on “Protecting Threatened Bird Species”

The talk will focus on the work of the National Parks and Wildlife Service and how the NPWS is helping to protect and conserve endangered bird species in Ireland.

Padraig Comerford works for the NPWS as a Divisional Manager for the South Eastern Region.

The event is free of charge. No booking necessary. Seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis. (Venue maximum capacity is 120 seats). Door open at 2.30 pm , talk at 3pm.
