Come along to Scattery Island and see this demonstration of traditional basket making using locally grown willow, given by craftsperson Deirdre Hetherington, Doonbeg in the island's recently renovated cottages.

This demonstration event takes place in conjunction with the tour of Saint Senan's 6th century monastic settlement given by the OPW guides

Please note there is a ferry boat charge and also August 15th is a 4.25 hours duration on the island and August 17th is 2.5 hours duration on island.
