In light of the Bram Stoker Festival (25th - 28th October) we are offering a family-friendly workshop that explores Dublin Castle's history during the Victorian Era. This time we will be taking our inspiration from the 'Portrait of Queen Victoria' (1842) by John Partridge which hangs in the Drawing Room of the State Apartments. We'll also be considering the work of Bram Stoker, author of 'Dracula' (1897), who worked in the former Department of Fines & Penalties.
Participants will use materials from the Education Room as they make their own Victorian bat masks.
This is an opportunity to learn, discuss and create using the rich art collection of the State Apartments at Dublin Castle.
This workshop is free of charge. Booking is essential, as places are limited! Booking is by email only.
