🏺 Biodiversity & Fossil Hunt: Grab a magnifying glass and become a nature detective. Young explorers can search all over the Abbey for birds, plants, ivy, and bugs. Don’t forget to scan the ancient stone walls for hidden treasures see if you can identify a fossil!
🎨 The Cloister Garth Craft Station: Right in the heart of the Abbey, we are setting up our creative workshop. Stop by the Stone Masons Corner, where children can use Play-Doh to sculpt, design, and mimic the master builders who constructed these towering arches centuries ago. Grab a stone and paint for favourite creature.
• The Chapter House Reading Corner: Step inside the cosy, historic Chapter House room. We’ve set up a relaxed reading corner complete with comfy beanbags and blankets, perfect for escaping into stories of ancient friars, Gaelic chieftain’s lords and mysteries.
